The Slack Family Outdoor Photoshoot in Essex

Oct 18, 2015 | Family photography

Sally is also a Professional Photographer and a good friend of mine so I was really chuffed when she asked me to do a photoshoot of her with her family.  Her husband Ian was away overseas at the time but as her middle son Ben was going away for the summer, Sally thought it was best to go ahead anyway and give the photos as a gift to her husband for his Birthday (what a lovely wife!).  As she is normally the one behind the camera, I was so pleased to be able to take some photos of Sally with her three gorgeous boys.

We chose an evening when we knew we’d get some beautiful golden light, and went to a location near Sally’s home that she knew, which was an old railway track, but is now a lovely leafy lane.

Tom, Ben and George were great fun and obviously well trained on how to work the camera!  (Good work Sally!)  And there was lots of banter going on which made the whole shoot very enjoyable.   I just love the results and hope you do too!
