Sandra and James got married at the stunning Wedding venue Boxted Hall on the 19th of September last year. It was a beautiful September day, with glorious sunshine and warm late summer breeze. Sandra who is from Spain originally, looked absolutely sensational in her wedding gown, and had lots of fun getting ready with her two Bridesmaids Sarah and Lisa, and her Mum in the Bridal suite at Boxted Hall.
I then went to meet up with James and his Best Men Paul, Joe and Nick at Boxted Hall Church which is part of the estate and only a short walk up the hill from the venue. James looked very relaxed and calm as he posed for photos and welcomed friends and family to their big day.
After the ceremony, I raced down the hill ahead of James and Sandra so I could capture them walking down from the church with their guests trailing behind them. They were welcomed at the Hall with Cocktails and a brass band added a Carribean feel to the event, and everyone enjoyed mingling in the sunshine while I took the group photos on the lawn.
Afterwards everyone settled down to a 6 course meal and I borrowed James and Sandra in between courses to do their couple shots and make the most of the gorgeous golden hour when the sun was falling but hadn’t quite gone down fully. The result were some of my favourite ever Bride and Groom shots which you can see below! This was followed by some really hilarious speeches (which I always enjoy) and then it was time for me to leave, but I know James and Sandra and their family and friends enjoyed partying on late into the night and a wonderful time was had by all.
I’ve chosen some of my favourite images of the day to share with you and I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Thanks to Sandra and James for inviting me to be a part of your day and to my Assistant Elisabeth for all her help on the day. Finally, Thank you to Boxted Hall for looking after us so well. It is the second wedding I have photographed at this venue and both times I could see how hard Toby and Jenni work to make sure their guests enjoy every second of their day!
