Alison McKenny has been a Woman’s Beauty Portrait Photographer based at her studio in Stoke by Clare, Suffolk (which is on the Cambridge and Essex border) for the past 10 years. She has trained with world-renowned Portrait Photographer Sue Bryce at her Paris workshop and worked hard to achieve ‘Master Photographer’ status with the Portrait Masters.
Every woman loves to feel beautiful for her partner and more importantly herself. A woman’s beauty is unique and should be celebrated. Our studio-based photography sessions which can include full hair and make up and up to 4 outfit changes, bring out the ‘model’ in you and are dedicated to exposing a woman’s true beauty at every age.
Bring your Partner, Mum, Sisters, Children or Best Friends, or come on your own if you prefer for a once in a lifetime experience.

SESSION FEE
To book any of the photoshoots below, a retainer of £99 is charged upfront. This is then deducted from whichever collection you choose to buy.
If you would prefer to buy a piece of Wall Art instead of a collection, then the £99 is not deducted from whatever product you buy, and there is a minimum order of £399.
Hair and Makeup Artist is available on request at £55 for hair or makeup or £110 for both.
At the end of the photoshoot, we will make an appointment for your viewing and ordering session in the following two weeks which we can do in person or via Zoom. You don’t need to decide which Collection or Products you would like to buy until this meeting and you have seen your gallery of x20 images and chosen your favourites. There is no pressure to buy any images should you decide not to.

YOUR BEAUTY SHOOT
I discovered Women’s Beauty Shoots early in my Photography career while seeking training online. I found an amazing Photographer called Sue Bryce who specialised in Women’s Beauty or Glamour shoots as she called them, and she had built a massively successful business through only photographing women and making them feel empowered and beautiful whilst taking their portraits. And the images she takes are breathtaking so she is a huge inspiration to me.
I followed her training online and was then lucky enough to attend a 3 day workshop with her in Paris in 2015. I learnt a huge amount and have continued training with her online ever since.
I have since gone on to win many awards and qualify as a Master Photographer under the Portrait Masters which is an International Photography Group managed by Sue Bryce among other world-renowned photographers from all over the world.
My Beauty Shoots are focussed mainly on my female clients. I want you to be able to come for your session, sit back and trust that we will make you your most beautiful self and give you the confidence to relax in front of the camera that you never had before. I want you to have an experience you will never forget.
We will have an in person or telephone consultation so I can find out more about you and how you would love to be photographed. We will discuss what to wear, hair and makeup, what to expect from your session, whether you would like to include anyone else in your session.
We can do up to 4 different looks in your shoot so you will have lots of variety in your gallery. I always recommend starting in a casual outfit, then getting more glammed up as we go along. Lots of my clients buy a special outfit, especially for their session but as my studio wardrobe is growing all the time, you are more than welcome to borrow something of mine too.

Can I do this shoot with my 3 best girlfriends?
I’m more than happy to photograph all 4 of you during one session although we won’t be able to do 4 looks each as we will only have 30 mins per person, so we could do 2 looks per person and some group shots too.
The gallery will still only include 20 to 25 images however so you won’t have as many photos to choose from. If you would like more, we could do 2 sessions back to back, which means you would each have an hour session and 10 to 13 images each to choose from.
I don't feel very photogenic but I'd love to have a go. Do you still think you could get nice photos of me?
Do you provide hair and makeup?
Do you airbrush or photoshop my images?
If you would prefer not to have your images retouched in this way, feel free to let me know. They are your images and I want them to reflect you. Equally, if on viewing your images there is something in the photo that I have missed and it is putting you off buying it, please let me know as it might be something I can easily remove or fix in Photoshop.
Do you do boudoir or nude portraits?
I only want digitals. Do I have to buy a collection?
There is no pressure to buy anything at all but Digital Files are only available to purchase with a Collection. If you want more than x5 but less then x10, you can buy extra’s at £70 each for the Digital plus matching mounted prints, but you can’t just buy one from the A La Carte menu I’m afraid.
Having been in this industry for 11 years now, I know a lot of my previous clients who just bought Digitals have never found the time to do anything with them, which is such a waste. When investing in a Professional Portrait Shoot, I want my clients to have photos that they can display around their home and enjoy every single day.
As I use the best suppliers I know my clients will receive top-quality products that will last for years and years, so that future generations can also enjoy their family portraits.
