Baby Archie’s Newborn Shoot

May 16, 2016 | Newborn

Little Archie came into see me when he was only a few days old.  I had worked with his Mum Laura for many years in Recruitment (my pre Photography days) so I was thrilled to be able to photograph her newborn son.   Archie was just like his Mum and Dad… super chilled out!  He was a dream to photograph and you can see the results below! This is why I love my job!

The best time to book your Baby in for a Newborn shoot is when you are 20 weeks pregnant or more.  Try not to leave it till after the Baby is born as my diary gets booked up very early so I may not be able to fit you in.   Ideally, I like to photograph Newborns when they are 8 to 14 days old as they are still super sleepy and able to curl up into those cute foetal positions we all love.  After that time, the can become much more alert and sensitive to touch which makes them much harder to pose.  But every baby is different so if you have already gone past that stage, feel free to get in touch and we’ll try to get you in as soon as possible.
