Ann and David’s Wedding at the Europe Hotel, Killarney

I am so excited about this Blog as I get to share my photos from the wedding of my lovely cousin Ann and her boyfriend of 5 years.  They got married in one of the most breathtaking venue’s that I have ever been to, or photographed at.   The Cathedral in Killarney was spectacular and then the Europe Hotel was amazing and looks onto the Kerry Mountains, and the sun was splitting the stones – it couldn’t have been better!  It was the first time I have photographed at one of my own family’s wedding and although I was a little nervous to have a lot of my family seeing me “at work”, it was actually great fun. Everyone was very supportive and helpful and even let me step into some of the photos with my cousins!    (thanks Darragh, Tara and Uncle Frank!)

Ann looked so beautiful in her dress which had a stunning lace back, and David looked very dapper and so happy to be marrying Ann.  The day started well with the bridal prep shots in an amazing Bridal suite, overlooking the lake and mountains.   They chose this venue because of the view and who could blame them.   The service was lovely with Ann’s favourite priest in charge (he also baptised her when she was a baby!), and he had travelled all the way down from Edenderry for the day.   And then champagne and canapés on a sunny terrace, followed by very funny speeches and a gorgeous meal in the Ballroom.   The party carried on well into the night and I finally got to bed at 3.30am, leaving the Bride and Groom still on the dance floor!  It was a fantastic day and night and I hope the photos reflect that.   I hope you like them as much as I do xxx
